So, I received a certified letter from Channel 8 regarding my campaign. I read the first page of the letter and thought, ''Right on. I could use some publicity.’’ Channel 8 was willing to give each of the candidates equal time to address the public. They wanted to spread the democratic process by increasing voter education & participation. And I like Channel 8. They’re okay for a mainstream media outfit. I watch them regularly for weather, election results, New Year’s, etc. Besides, the other local channels didn’t send me anything!
Sounds pretty good. That’s nice of them to offer free airtime to the candidates. So I continued to page 2.
