Ok, first of all these pain-in-the-asses keep sending me this stupid survey.  They use strong-arm tactics, implying that if I do not reply to the survey then I will be listed as “Failed” on major news outlets such as FOX, CBS, & MSNBC.

Let me say: #1: GOOD!  The mainstream media (MSM) LIES about virtually everything. Take anything the MSM says, then put it 180 degrees opposite.  By doing this you will have the truth behind the matter at hand.  Take any statistics that the MSM (or government) tells you and multiply it by 4.  I call it the “Rule of Four.”  Example: if the MSM says that the current Wall Street bailout is going to cost $700 billion, then that really means it is going to cost $2,800 billion (4x) the amount.  If the government says that we have 10 million illegals in the country, that means we really have 40 million illegals in the country.  If the MSM or government says we will pull out of Iraq within 3 years, that really means we might pull out within 12 years.  If the MSM or government says that illegals cost taxpayers $25 billion a year, that really means it costs $100 billion (or more).  So if the MSM lists me as “FAILED” on the dumb survey, then good.  That really means the opposite, as in I don’t like to be strong armed into what the MSM considers permissible.

Let me say #2: I tried to answer the survey online.  But it requires a Candidate ID and Password to access.  Yet, none of the literature that I was sent contained the ID or the Password.  And there were no directions online outlining how to obtain said ID/pw.  Well duh!  Kind of a little oversight by your webmaster huh?

Let me say #3: I will answer this survey right here, right now, so that nobody can say I do not want the voters to know my position on important (what they, votesmart, consider important) issues.

2008 CONGRESSIONAL POLITICAL COURAGE TEST

Abortion Issues: Indicate which principles you support (if any) regarding abortion:

Firstly, let me say that this is a NON-ISSUE.  This is a classic, divisive issue used to distract the public’s attention from major issues (like the illegal crime wave sweeping the nation, the buddy-buddy network of government & corporations fleecing the American taxpayers blind, the pandering of our U.S. sovereignty to foreign nations, etc.)  Abortion is an emotional, distractive issue.  But I will answer it since they feel it is important.

My stance:
Abortions should be legal when: the life of the woman is in danger, when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape, and only within the first trimester.

Budgetary, Spending, and Tax Issues:

Budget Priorities:
1 = Greatly Increase, 3 = maintain status, 6 = Eliminate

Agriculture: 3  We have some strange subsidy policies, but right now our nation faces a Constitutional Crisis that needs to be addressed first.

Arts: 2  Life without art is called being a robot.

Defense: 5  By being the world police, we are bankrupting ourselves.

Education: 1 See my section on education.

Environment: 1  We only have one planet.  If we screw it up, there’s nowhere to run folks.

FEMA: 4  I’m not even going there.  Can you say Katrina?

Homeland security: 1  My entire campaign is about destroying the Zionist Mafia.  That falls under homeland security.

International Aid:  Can’t answer that because it depends what country, how much $$ and for what purpose.

Law enforcement (both Federal & state): 3  We have enough manpower already.

Medical research: 3  What we need is a greater awakening and funding of holistic & alternative medicine.  Big Med and Big Pharma had a good run of it.  But people are finally catching onto the idea of CURING root causes of diseases rather than TREATING symptoms (which is what Big Pharma does).

National Parks: 2  When did National Parks become mini police-states?  The last time I was in a National Park it was a surreal, Orwellian experience.  We need to protect our environment and National Parks, but not by setting up ‘1984’ within its boundaries.

Public Health Services: 5  We need to eliminate all public health services for illegal aliens.  Hospitals nationwide are going bankrupt under the pressure of illegal immigration.

Scientific research: 2  Historically, the United States has been the world leader in new technologies and scientific research.  I would like to see this status maintained, even strengthened.  A strong technological base is good for our economy.  But it comes with the price tag of requiring a strong educational program as well.

Space exploration programs: 3  Look, of course as a scientist and mathematician I would love to see a greater exploration of space.  But right here, right now, we have an absolute Constitutional Meltdown happening.  Let’s fix that first.  Then we can pipe dream about massive space stations and Mars bases.  Long term, I favor space exploration.  Short term, I want to seal off the southern border and try to fix Washington.

Transportation and highway infrastructure: 1  All Americans pay a Federal Gas Tax of 18.4 cents per gallon.  On top of this each  state tacks on another state gas tax.  Here in Nevada, the state tax is 23 cents for gas, & 27 cents for diesel.  We also have a 10 cent (max) county tax, a ¾ cent cleanup fee, and an 11/200 cent inspection fee.  Yet, with all this enormous money generated, we have decaying roadways, congested freeways, and no true public transportation to speak of.  The monies from these taxes, especially at the federal level, have been siphoned off for other purposes (which is unconstitutional, I might add).  I have a wild idea.  If oil and natural gas deposits lie mostly on public lands, why don’t we set up a national oil company?  Why should private corporations (i.e. Big Oil) reap such enormous profits off of PUBLIC LAND?  The national oil company could drill, refine, and provide gasoline to the public at a fraction of the current ridiculously high, gouging prices.  “But Jeff, that stinks of socialism.  We like our Big Oil companies to pork us over a barrel.” Oh and Social Security, Medicare, public education, municipal water supplies, and Federal Income Tax aren’t socialism?  Please.  Public oil on public land should be drilled and refined by an independent establishment of the executive branch (example: the U.S. Postal Service is such an establishment).  The price of gas would drop to below a dollar a gallon, I guarantee.  Will it happen?  Of course not, don’t be naive.  Big money runs Washington D.C.

(I would also like to see high speed mag-lev trains connecting all major U.S. Cities)

United Nations: 2  The United States pays for the bulk of the U.N. budget.  If it truly is an organization of all the nations of the planet, then the other countries need to pitch in with the $$.  I don’t think the U.S. should pay such a disproportionate amount of money.

Welfare: 3  Here’s a red herring issue.  When the average voter hears welfare, they think of inner city, single mothers with 7 out-of-wedlock children.  Let me tell you something voter.
This type of welfare is CHUMP CHANGE compared to CORPORATE WELFARE.  Never heard of corporate welfare?  That doesn’t surprise me.  The mainstream media and government never talk about this abomination.  They deliberately avoid the topic.  The tax burden in the United States used to be split about 50/50 between corporations and individuals.  Now, corporations only pay about ¼ of what individuals pay.  This is corporate welfare.  Personally, I would call this corporate fascism.  But to please the politically correct ears out there, I’ll call it corporate welfare.  The current Wall Street fiasco is but one example of corporate welfare (i.e. extortion of taxpayers).  The link above states $150 billion a year for corporate welfare, compared to $145 billion in “traditional” welfare (inner city, single moms, etc.).  Personally, I believe the $150 billion figure is drastically low.  Applying my Rule of Four, I would say the true cost of corporate welfare is over half a trillion dollars each year.  Don’t let the MSM derail who the true recipient of welfare is in this country.  Hands down, corporations cost us much more $$ each year than do social welfare programs.  See what Ralph Nader had to say about Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac (½ down the page) way back in 1999.  Funny how history seems to repeat itself.

Defense Spending:

All I will say about this is, it is terrible, absolutely terrible, how the veterans who are disabled from the Afghan and Iraqi wars are being treated by the Veteran’s Administration.  We need to drastically increase the VA’s budget and take care of these disabled soldiers.

Taxes:

I am a scientist, not an economist.  My campaign for Congress is to SEAL OFF THE MEXICAN BORDER.  Personally, I dread tax time when it rolls around annually.  But, I really, really believe that we can significantly streamline our tax system.  There is no need for this monstrosity that we all have to deal with each year.  Maybe I am pipe-dreaming, but I think a flat tax with NO LOOPHOLES  would be the easiest, and fairest tax system.  Our current system awards underachievers, punishes overachievers, and confuses 99.9% of us.  The tax codes are so complicated that it takes legal expertise to make any sense of it.  That was not the intention of our Founding Fathers.  I am referring to the Federal Income Tax.  The problem is there are so many loopholes and tax shelters available to the wealthy and to corporations that the burden of taxes rests solidly on the middle class.  This is not fair to the average middle class family.  Under a flat tax, everyone pays an equal percentage, and nobody (including corporations) gets any special exemptions.

Campaign Finance and Government Reform Issues:

I do not think private campaigning should be allowed AT ALL.  I believe that all political campaigning should be done at public events, paid for with public money.  That way ALL candidates have an equal footing.  As it stands, winners of our elections are directly correlated to the amount of money they raise from special interests.  Do I even need to go into the future conflict-of-interest problems associated with this?

Publicly funded, public debates featuring ALL candidates (not just the self-chosen elites’ candidates) should be the only forum for campaigning.  Network television, radio, and newsprint should be legally required to cover all these debates.

Private campaigning should be illegal.  “What? Really?  Jeff, are you serious?”  Yes I am serious.  It is the only way to put the Little Guy, who often has good ideas, on an equal footing with the Big Guys, who are always picked by the “chosen elite” to be mouthpieces for corporate interests (as well as foreign interests).

Democracy has been hijacked by $$$$$.   Public-funding-only  is the best solution in my opinion.  Wake up America!  There’s no difference between Democrats and Republicans.  Both parties bow to PAC monies and special interests.

Other topics under this question include Presidential Executive Orders:

Let me say this, so there is no ambiguity:  Presidential Executive Orders are illegal and unconstitutional.  The Founding Fathers made the U.S. Congress as the Legislative Branch of government.  The Executive Branch is only supposed to ENFORCE LAWS PASSED BY THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH.  That’s it!  Nowhere in our Constitution does it say the President can “go around” the Congress via Executive Orders.  The very idea of Executive Orders flies in the face of the Constitution.  What it does is codify both legislative and executive powers under one branch of government.  Correct me if I’m wrong, isn’t that called a dictatorship?  I believe that ALL Executive Orders ever passed are null/void/unconstitutional.  If Congress had a collective backbone, this moronic sleight of hand would have never been allowed.

Crime:

Duh!  What candidate for any office is going to say they are soft of crime?  What a stupid question to put on a survey.  “Gee America, I like crime.”  Give me a break.  Of course I support enforcement of laws.

Let me elaborate on a few points, however.  Our prison population is bursting at the seams. We are doing something wrong.  We have the highest incarceration rate of any industrialized, western society.  I am in favor of educating prisoners.  Numerous studies have shown that educating prisoners reduces recidivism rates 20 to 60 percent!  Do you understand what that means?  By educating prisoners, even something as simple as a GED program, or vocational training (teach them how to fix automobiles, air conditioning, welding, etc.) their chances of committing another crime leading to another prison term is reduced by up to 60%.  That’s pretty significant considering that recidivism is over 67%.  That is to say, there is a 67% chance that a prisoner will be released, simply to commit yet another crime.  If teaching prisoners how to weld, or how to fix cars reduces this number, then I say do it!

A HUGE problem that is overlooked by the mainstream media is that of ILLEGAL ALIENS in prison.  This is an enormous problem that needs to be addressed.  I believe all illegal alien prisoners should be paid for by the host country.  We should bill Mexico for the incarceration costs, and ultimately deportation costs, of illegal alien prisoners.  See my section on illegal immigration to learn what a huge cost this is to you and me as taxpayers.

Lastly, let’s face it.  The War on Drugs is a dismal failure!  It is. Not only is it a failure, but it specifically targets minority populations.  93% of people in jail under drug laws are African-American or Latino.  That is a rather significant number, wouldn’t you agree?  It has been proven that education is far more beneficial than incarceration when it comes to battling drugs.  We are spending billions upon billions of dollars every year in this failed effort to stamp out drugs.  This “war” has been carried out since the Reagan Administration almost 30 years ago.  There has been NO significant decrease in drug use.  The only thing that has changed is the incarceration rate.  Now, our prisons are bursting with overpopulation.  I say legalize it, tax it, and fight it with education...much like the anti-smoking campaign.  Cigarettes are legal, but any educated person serious about their health would never smoke.  Likewise, let’s stop this stupid war on drugs, legalize them, and educate those who are willing to listen.  We gave the “War” almost 30 years.  It hasn’t worked.  It’s time for a different approach.

Drug felonies receive the highest mean sentences of all offenses.  In other words, if John beats, mugs, or rapes someone and Joe gets caught with too much pot, it is Joe who will spend more time in prison.  What an insane policy.  Don’t believe me?  Look at this link, about 2/3 down the page there is a table of average sentences (using 2000 stats, I can only imagine it is even worse now).  State incarceration rates for drug offenses run about 20% (using 2004 data) at an annual cost of more than $6 billion.  Federal incarceration rates for drug offenses run more than 53%(using 2006 stats) of the entire prison population. at an annual cost of more than $2.2billion.  In 2005, on the state level  we spent almost $43 billion nationally on the Prison Industrial Complex.  This is almost DOUBLE what states spent on public assistance programs!  And we complain about welfare! It’s all about $$$ folks.

Has drug use declined? NO!  If you enjoy throwing good money after bad, then go ahead and keep fighting the “good fight.”  But if you are tired of the government taking more and more of your paycheck, leaving you less and less to buy groceries and gasoline, then maybe you should reconsider your strategy for fighting drugs.  The only people benefiting from this “war” are those involved with the Prison Industrial Complex.  The more prisoners they have, the more money they make.

Nearly 1 out of 4 State and Federal prisoners is an illegal alien.  Now, how many of these illegals are in prison for drug offenses? I don’t know.  But if ½ of federal prisoners are there on drug charges, and ¼ are illegal aliens, then the current federal prison population could be reduced by between 50% and 75% by simply deporting illegal prisoners/demanding reparations from host country and by ending the war on drugs as it is currently fought.  At a state level that would reduce prison population by 25% to 45%, at a net savings of up to $23 billion each year!

Not only would changing tactics with respect to the “War on Drugs” save us tens of billions of dollars each year, but it would deny the Black Market that is so necessary for Mexican drug cartels to operate.  With legal, regulated, and taxed farmers in this country producing the product, there would be no Mexican Mafia controlling and crippling the Mexican economy.  It would be a severe blow to their criminal power and a significant step toward ridding Mexico of crime and corruption.  And that would be one more incentive for aliens to remain in Mexico instead of coming here illegally.  Strange as it sounds, part of the solution to the illegal immigration problem might just be legalizing drugs.  All around, it could lead to a win-win scenario for Mexico and the United States.

Did you know that 80% of cocaine and 50% of heroin in the U.S. is smuggled across the Mexican border by Mexican nationals?  This has resulted in 118 incursions by the Mexican military (who work for the drug cartels) into the U.S. In the last five years alone!  Never heard that in the mainstream media did you?  It is absolutely true and verifiable.  The Mexican military has, and still does, knowingly INVADE sovereign United States soil in order to protect the Mexican Drug Mafia.  They have carried out military operations (i.e. enforced Mexican Drug Cartel business) as far north as Phoenix, AZ.  If you do not favor legalizing drugs, then for Pete’s sake at least support sealing off the Mexican border.  It would at the very least result in a massive decrease in available drugs in the U.S.

Education:

See my page on education.

Employment Issues:

I support increasing minimum wage, the right of workers to unionize, and government-funded, job-training programs.  It is better to spend $25k teaching an inner city youth welding or plumbing (or some other trade) rather than spending $250k (conservative estimate) on his 10 year incarceration.

Environment and Energy Issues:

I 100% believe in clean water, clean air, and a healthy food supply.  I am against environmental pollution in any form.  I am against growth hormones, antibiotics, and the countless food additives that taint our nation’s food supply.  As far as energy is concerned, I believe we are NOT doing enough as a country to be energy self-sufficient.  There are many good ideas out there for renewable energy sources.  We are unnecessarily letting Big Oil call the shots.

Gun Issues:

There’s a reason the Founding Fathers (& especially Thomas Jefferson) put the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights.  The reason we still have a democracy in this country is because of the 2nd Amendment. Don’t forget that.  My advice to all Americans:

Keep them oiled, loaded, and nearby.

“The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”  ~ Thomas Jefferson

Health Issues:

Americans are in bad physical shape.  The healthcare industry, Big Med & Big Pharma, are the biggest industries in our country.  We need a massive educational program to encourage healthier eating and daily exercise.  Our food supply is abundant, but it is tainted with antibiotics, growth hormones, and numerous food additives.  The biggest problem with the healthcare issue, to me, is a populace who doesn’t have a healthy lifestyle, but then expects Uncle Sam to come running to the rescue when the inevitable consequences surface.

We need to be a preventative society instead of a reactionary society.  Healthy eating, vitamin and herbal supplementation, and exercise are preventative.  Heart bypass surgery, insulin injections, and localized surgeries for systemic problems are reactionary.

For example, the number one killer of Americans today is heart disease.  But by eating healthy, taking various supplements such as Vitamins B, C, E, amino acids lysine & proline and exercising, we can significantly reduce the rates of heart disease and atherosclerosis.  Alternative treatments such as EDTA chelation (pronounced key-lay-shun) could and by all means should be encouraged to fight this dreadful disease.

Don’t eat two double cheeseburgers with extra-large fries, a chocolate shake, and a processed fruit dessert, and then expect Uncle Sam to foot the bill for your quadruple bypass.

Do we need national healthcare?  In a sense yes.  There should be a safety net for Americans. I’m not denying that.  There are times when medical care is necessary and unavoidable.

One thing I will say is we need to STOP paying for illegal alien healthcare.  They are bankrupting hospitals nationwide.  They are receiving more benefits in our medical institutions than honest, tax-paying American citizens.

Immigration Issues:

I am not even going to explain my position here.  Look at my lengthy explanations elsewhere on my site.

International Aid, International Policy, and International Trade Issues:

As far as I’m concerned, we give TOO much money to TOO many countries.  What is the ultimate purpose?  They never seem to get their act together.  We always give the most money to the least deserving countries.  Quite frankly, I think we should spend our money domestically instead of internationally.  I do believe we should help out our neighbors to the south.  By strengthening Mexico, Central America, and South America we would help ourselves.  There would be much less incentive for aliens to enter the United States illegally.

I believe we should give aid to foreign countries in the wake of severe natural disasters such as earthquakes or hurricanes.

I believe we should help negotiate peaceful solutions to international disputes.  But I do not think we should be using our Armed Forces and especially our National Guardsmen to police the world.  Our National Guardsmen need to be deployed along our southern border until a permanent, double fence is built.  After that, the Guardsmen should be stationed in their respective states.

National Security:

Another dumb question.  What candidate is going to say they are soft on national security?  You want to know what would be great for national security?  A border secured by a double fence, topped with barbed-wire, and sandwiching a water-filled trench in the middle.  Multiple physical obstacles such as this would dramatically reduce illegal entry into our country.

As far as national ID, such as the Real ID: Let me give you a quote by Benjamin Franklin:

“Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety,”

That’s what I think of the Real ID.

Social Issues:

Same sex marriage:  Come on! Are you serious?  This is an issue?  Habeas Corpus has been suspended.  Wall  Street gangsters have extorted us for TRILLIONS of dollars.  Our nonexistent southern border isn’t even a speed bump for illegals, and the Constitution is being shredded by the likes of the Patriot Act & Executive Orders.

Yet again, this is another emotional, distractive issue.  This is the type of issue that people react to on an emotional level, not a logical, intellectual level.

I have an idea.  Keep it in the closet!  I’m so tired of all the “gaying up” of television, movies, and society in general.  Yes I said that. I am running for Congress and I actually said that I think gays should keep it in the closet.  This kind of non-issue  is what keeps America distracted and divided.  All the while the traitors to this country burn the Constitution and rob us blind.

Embryonic Stem Cells:  Recent developments in stem cell research may render this a mute point.  In the future it is quite possible that everyone of us will be able to produce our own stem cells when needed.  This is another dumb issue used by government and MSM to distract us from the really big problems.

Should the federal government consider race and gender in government contracting decisions?:  Shouldn’t the real deciding factors be cost, quality, and timely delivery?  What the hell does race or gender have to do with that?  I support contracts that are cost effective, highest quality per dollar, and not overbudget/overschedule.

Should the federal government continue affirmative action programs? Sure, why not.  And they should start with themselves.  The demographics of the United States as of 2008 are supposedly the following, listed in descending order of percentage:

U.S. Demographics:
White              68%
Hispanic        12.5%
Black               12%
Asian              4.5%
Jewish               3%

Bill Clinton Administration:
Demographics of appointees:
47% women (59% of judicial nominees)

41% White
35% Jewish
12% Black
12% Hispanic/Asian

Bush (W.) Administration:
Demographics of appointees:
43% served in his father’s administration
37 % women

53% Jewish
31% White
10% Black
6%   Hispanic/Asian

U.S. Congress-110th (current):

House: 365 men, 70 women                                      Senate: 84 men, 16 women

326/435 =  74.9% White                                             81/100 = 81% White
43/435   =    9.9% Black                                             13/100 = 13% Jewish
30/435   =    6.9% Jewish                                             3/100 =   3% Hispanic
29/435   =    6.7% Hispanic                                          2/100 =   2% Asian
7/435     =    1.6% Asian                                               1/100 =  1% Black

Well, I would say that our own government doesn’t seem to be very well balanced with respect to Affirmative Action (especially the Presidential appointees).  Personally, I am not a huge fan of Affirmative Action.  I believe the most competent and intelligent people, regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation, should be the ones chosen.

Should the federal government regulate internet gambling?:
Is that REALLY an important issue?  If people are stupid enough to waste money on internet gambling then let them.  My answer is: No.  The government is too large already.  The federal octopus needs to be shrunk, not expanded.

Social Security Issues:

Let me say this so there is no misunderstanding.  There is NOTHING wrong with the Social
Security system.  The reason this is even an issue is because Reagan, Bush I, Bill Clinton, and George W. borrowed from Social Security.  The Social Security SURPLUS generated by YOU, the American taxpayer, has been transferred to the federal government’s general fund for the past 25+ years!

Let me say that again so you will fully understand.  The Social Security system has had a NET SURPLUS for the last 25 years (actually for much longer).  The last FOUR administrations illegally and unconstitutionally diverted these surpluses to pay for our national debt.  Almost 75% of this money went to tax cuts for the rich and for corporate welfare.

Do you understand?  There is nothing wrong with the Social Security system.  If anything, we are paying too much of a payroll tax into the system.  It has been unconstitutionally LOOTED for the benefit of corporations and elitists.

We do not need to privatize Social Security.  What we need to do is DEMAND that the missing money be returned into the system.  It is NOT BROKEN.  It has been criminally LOOTED.  Get that through your heads.

Welfare and Poverty Issues:

I believe welfare recipients (that is everyday welfare, not corporate welfare which is much more costly) should have to either work or attend some form of training program in order to receive benefits.  It would be more beneficial to train unskilled workers in a trade school than to keep cutting government checks every month.  I also believe that additional children born to a welfare mother should not be given additional monies.  That simply promotes abuse of the system.

THE END OF THE OFFICIAL SURVEY

There!  Even though you will see me listed in the mainstream media as having “failed” the test, there are my answers.  I have answered them honestly, and to the best of my ability.  I am not an expert on every matter or nuance of government.  Some of my stances you will agree with.  On others you will disagree.  That is perfectly normal and to be expected.  Can you honestly say that you have ever agreed with a candidate 100%?  I can’t.

I AM A ONE ISSUE CANDIDATE.  I WANT TO STOP THE ZIONIST MAFIA FROM EXPLOITING & ENSLAVING HUMANITY.  IF YOU AGREE WITH ME THEN SEND ME TO WASHINGTON.
